About Our Staff
Little Prince & Princess’s Learning Center promotes high quality services to our families and participates in Early Childhood Educational trainings. Our team is made up of highly trained and experienced professionals who are passionate about working with children. We cultivate a culture of continuous learning and improvement. All staff members are equipped with the following:
• FBI fingerprint clearance (ongoing live scan)
• CPR, First Aid, Blood borne pathogen certification
•Infant safe sleep certification
• A minimum of a CDA credentialing
•24 hours per year of professional training
LPP'S Mission
At Little Prince and Princess's Learning Center, our goal is to provide a safe environment for children to learn and explore their education with hands on teaching from our highly skilled staff. Our teachers are passionate about creating a place for each student to excel, achieve, and prepare them for the next step on their educational journey.
What LPP Offers
Little Prince & Princess’s learning center offers nutritional meals for breakfast, lunch, and snack. We also offer before/after care, free preschool program for 4 year olds. As well as, we offer a researched based curriculum that provides a hands on learning experience to fit the unique needs of all children.
- We have an infant/toddler classroom that begins at the age of six weeks to 2.5 years of age.
- Our young pre-K begins at 2.5 to 4 years old.
- During the summer we have a summer camp for our school agers 5-12 from grades k-8. In which we take the students on weekly field trips, cooking activities, arts & crafts, science, etc. Children have a new, fun, and exciting theme during each week of camp. Activities, projects, lessons, and creative play unlock new worlds and keep them on their toes throughout the summer through a world of adventure.
Curriculum
Little Prince & Princess’s uses Creative Curriculum for children ages birth to five. The philosophy of The Creative Curriculum® is that young children learn best by doing. The Creative Curriculum® is built on theories of development in young children, that all children learn through active exploration of their environment and therefore the environment plays a critical role in learning. The goal of the Creative Curriculum is to help children become independent, self-confident, inquisitive and enthusiastic learners by actively exploring their environment. Our center prides ourselves on being a published 4 star rated facility through the Great Start to Quality rating system with a rating system scale of 1-5 stars.
